Overview

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 puts a 1-inch CMOS sensor on a mechanical three-axis gimbal in a body that weighs just 179 g. It records 10-bit 4K at up to 120 fps, with D-Log M for real grading latitude, and its 2-inch OLED touchscreen rotates to switch instantly between horizontal and vertical framing.

ActiveTrack 6.0 keeps a moving subject framed, full-pixel fast focusing locks on quickly, and the built-in battery is rated for up to 166 minutes and charges to 80% in 16 minutes. It’s an ideal B-camera for behind-the-scenes, B-roll, walk-and-talks, vertical social content and any shot where a full rig won’t fit.

Both Osmo Pockets put a three-axis gimbal in your pocket. The Pocket 3 moves up to a 1-inch sensor, 4K at 120 fps in 10-bit D-Log M and a 2" rotating screen — the one to choose when image quality, low light and slow motion matter most.

Best for

Choose the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for

  • Low-light interiors, events and interviews, where the 1-inch sensor shines
  • 4K slow motion at up to 120 fps
  • Footage headed for a grade, recorded in 10-bit D-Log M
  • Vertical social content — just rotate the screen

Choose the DJI Osmo Pocket for

  • The lightest pocketable B-roll and behind-the-scenes camera, at just 116 g
  • Using your smartphone as a bigger monitor with the included adapters
  • Rigging in tight spots with the included mounting bracket and cages
  • Crisp 4K/60 on a lean budget
  • A 64GB V30 microSD card is included — format it in the camera before the first take, and offload it at every break on long shoot days.
  • Take the protective cover off before powering on so the gimbal can unfold and calibrate freely.
  • Rotate the screen to switch between horizontal and vertical framing instead of turning the camera in your hand.
  • Shoot D-Log M when the footage will be graded, and pick a gimbal mode (Follow, Tilt Locked or FPV) to suit the move before rolling.
